Q: Is WinZen safe for me to use?
A: Great question! That's the kind of question you should ask before you install any software. From a functional perspective, all WinZen does is modify the locations of Windows. To do this, it asks Windows for a list of the current system Windows and then sets their top, bottom, width, and height parameters, per your instructions. It can also modify the more esoteric settings, such as transparency. Other than that, WinZen does not impact your running applications in any way. From a security perspective, WinZen is intended to be a fun, safe, handy tool that will enhance your Windows experience. We do no harm, do no evil, and never even access the Internet. You have my name, phone number, etc. I have a reputation to protect. I run the same copy of WinZen you do.

Q: Does WinZen include any security issues, such as keyloggers, spyware, or trojan horses?
A: Absolutely not. (Honestly, what else would you expect us to say?) But, seriously, this software does not even reach out to the Internet. You can run it with ZoneAlarm enabled, and it will never even try to access an external web site. If you run an unregistered copy, you will see a button that opens a browser to the registration site, but even then, it is your browser accessing the Internet, not WinZen. WinZen was written by the good guys.
